HIGH SCHOOL

High school courses will be offered at grade 10, 11 and 12 levels for students who: 1) have not met the requirements of the next grade, 2) want to take classes to accommodate regular timetable needs or, 3) wish to upgrade their existing mark in a particular subject. Classes run 3 1/4 hours per day, plus additional 8 hours of tutorial time over 22 days.

JUNIOR HIGH

Mathematics will be offered for grades 7,8 & 9 only. Language Arts will be offered for grades 7, 8 & 9. These courses are remedial based for students who have not met the requirements for the next grade level or who want to improve their knowledge in a particu- lar subject area. All run 2 hours per day for 14 days except for Math 9 which will run 20 days (to July 30).

WORK EXPERIENCE - 2010

Students in grades 10, 11 and 12 as of September 2010 are eligible to register in Summer School Work Experience. For further information contact the Work Experience Advisor at your school.

REGISTRATION

Students may register for courses at Medicine Hat High School, during business hours, 9:00 - 11:30 am and 12:30 - 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday until Wednesday, June 30, 2010 for Senior High and Friday, July 2, 2010 for Junior High. Registration forms can be accessed from the District 76 website at www.sd76.ab.ca

FEES

For each student registered in Summer School. Fees for Junior High will be $130.00 per course. Fees for Senior High School will be $60.00 per course. No fees for work experience. Cash/Credit Card payment is accepted for fees only. A separate payment of $80.00 for

text deposit, must accompany registration. This money will be reimbursed when all texts have been returned.(Check office

for adult and international student fees)
