Wine Is Mus i c . . .

Sarah’s Vineyard lounges elegantly over a rocky knoll, relaxing across 20 hilly acres in a hid- den southwestern corner of the Santa Clara Valley. Tucked at the eastern foot of Mount Ma- donna near a windy mountain pass, the dynamic coastal California weather patterns create a wonderful microclimate for growing premium wine grapes; and from these gifted grapes they work to create equally gifted wines.

At Sarah’s Vineyard, they share a dream of forging fine food-friendly wines that express the unique qualities of this secluded pastoral area. They grow estate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and source other varietals from local vineyards in the Santa Cruz Mountain and Santa Clara Valley appellations.

The Tasting Room is open daily from 11:00am to 5:00pm. Customers are welcome to bring a picnic, buy a bottle of wine and enjoy the picnic area or bocce courts . You will also find a small gallery with rotating exhibits of local artists, including paintings, pottery, sculpture and other objects d’art.

Sarah’s Vineyard is about a 35 minute drive south of San Jose, in a lovely rural area near the eastern foot of Mount Madonna. Highway 152 (Hecker Pass Highway) about three hundred yards east of Watsonville Road, on the north side of the road. Definetly worth the drive. This beautiful vineyard has numerous award winning wines. We reccomend the Pinot Reserve.
