Our busy hairdressing salon is ideally situated in Lower Chantry Lane and is open to the public. From cutting and styling to head weaves and perming, it offers as many treatments as any high street salon.

Canterbury College Students’ Union
There is more to College life than classes and studying. Canterbury College’s award-winning Student’s Union is the biggest voice in the College.
Dedicated to its members and improving the student experience inside and outside the classroom., the Students’ Union works hard to make sure everyone has the best time at College. The Executive Committee meet every week to discuss issues affecting students, try to resolve any problems that students might have and also arrange campaigns and events. Our Students’ Union is part of the NUS (National Union of Students).
As a student at Canterbury you automatically become a member of the Students’ Union. This means that you can enjoy the wide range of benefits from clubs and societies to organised trips. Over the past year there have been trips to see live music concerts, gigs, Disneyland Paris, sports such as football and basketball, West End musicals and weekend festivals and much more.
For the last two years Canterbury College’s Students’ Union has been voted the best FE Students’ Union in the South East at the national NUS Awards.
