The ICT Co-ordinator is responsible for keeping the ICT policy under review and re-drafting it when necessary. The ICT Co-ordinator will also advise the headteacher on the ICT component of the school's development plan. It is difficult to envisage possible expenditure this year. As stated earlier in this report it seems that now is the time to propel ICT at King Charles into the 21st century. Think about empowering our children, preparing them to succeed in a world we can only guess at. Surely we must not stand in their way by trying to fix them to our way of learning.
They will require access to as much digital learning as we can provide in the classroom. The school will be delivering the new curriculum by September 2011 - will it be ready? What does 21st century learning look like? Without doubt, communication and the sharing of knowledge is at the heart of modern teaching and learning.
