1. Ghost Captivating
‘personifi es every woman’s desire to escape and explore the mysteries of the night that awaits you’. The scent opens with top notes of bergamot, mandarin, freesia and guava, leading to a heart of jasmine, magnolia, peony and rose. Base notes of orris, sandalwood and musk complete the fragrance, which is housed in a modern, slender bottle with an intriguing winding ‘staircase’ wrapped around it. Model Lily Cole fronts the advertising campaign, which shows her wearing an emerald-green dress at the start of a winding staircase, ready to

2. Flora Nymphéa
is the newest addition to Guerlain’s Aqua Allegoria range. It combines the enchanting aroma of seringa, or ‘poet’s jasmine’, with orange blossom and honey to create a ‘wonderful allegory of a springtime garden when the air becomes warmer and a mild breeze diffuses the scents of rhapsodic nature into the atmosphere’. The scent was created by perfumer Thierry Wasser.
