GETTING AHEAD... with new Head of Lettings appointment!

A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE ON PROPERTY

If a picture can speak a thousand words, then a moving panorama surely tells the whole story. Ever striving to add innovation to our suite of proper ty marketing tools, Moginie James have teamed up with Yell to become the first agents in Cardiff to offer a bespoke video vir tual tour to present proper ties at their very best – and will be offering this additional service free to the first 10 vendors who instruct MJ during April 2010.

CYNCOED BRANCH’S 3RD BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS!

Following an exceptionally successful 2009 we are pleased to announce the appointment of Kate Hayden as Head of Lettings. Kate’s remit is to drive forwards our already thriving Lettings division. Director, Pete Moginie commented on

the appointment: “Kate is an integral part of our expansion plans for 2010. With over 10 years experience in the sector and as the Wales Representative for the Association of Residential Lettings Agents (ARLA), Kate’s industry knowledge and commitment to best practice meant she was the prime candidate for the position.”

Kate, who joined us in January, added:

“Moginie James is one of the most reputable and trusted agents in the City. Their service commitment to both landlords and tenants is second to none”.

Kate sits on the ARLA Members Advisory Panel which meets 4 times a year to define best practice, encourage membership par ticipation and discuss hot topics in the lettings business. As part of her new remit at Moginie James, Kate will be working with our lettings team to ensure that all staff study for and obtain the ARLA Technical Award to maintain the already high standards that we are renowned for.

Kate is based at our Cardiff Bay branch and can be contacted on: kate.hayden@moginiejames.co.uk or 029 2046 0294.

We can hardly believe it was a mere 3 years ago that we opened our fl agship agency and effectively secured the future of the Cyncoed Village Post Offi ce which is co- located on the site. The Post Offi ce had been under threat of closure but is now a thriving business which has been trading for over 12 years. Combined, we offer a fantastic service to the local community and long may it continue!

Cyncoed Manager, Rhiannon Davies commented: “We are thrilled

with the success of the Cyncoed branch. We always endeavour to provide the best for our clients and bring something new to the table – so when designing the space we decided to add a cosmopolitan fl air to the branch by creating a relaxing browsing zone, scrolling plasma screens and complimentary refreshments. The style has been a triumph, which we have replicated across all our offi ces.”
