Neighbors

As part of the recently launched Fulton Homes annual Fence Patrol program for 2010, SanTan Sun residents have until July 4 to nominate themselves or a family for a free pool fence plus installation.

The first pool fence will be awarded to a deserving family and installed on Tue., May 4. The fences are specifically designed to meet city codes for optimum safety. Fulton Homes in conjunction with KMLE 108 FM and Ironman Pool Fences will continue to award a pool fence to a new family each week for 12 weeks following the first installation.

“As the hotter months approach, families will be taking off the pool covers and spending more time outdoors,” says Douglas Fulton, CEO of Fulton Homes. “Drowning incidents can happen in seconds, and they can happen to any family. Pool fences are one preventative measure families can take in making sure they never encounter one of these tragedies.”

The Fulton Homes Fence Patrol pool fence program has already helped hundreds of people equip their homes with barriers to help prevent children from falling into pools. Fulton Homes also supports the Valley of the Sun YMCA, providing swim lessons to disadvantaged youths.

To fill out a nomination form, visit www.kmle108.com and click on the Fence Patrol icon. For more information, call 602-452-1000 or visit www.fultonhomes.com.

Fulton Homes launches fence patrol Fingerprint children for safety

A free DNA LifePrint Child Safety event is hosted by SanTan Honda Superstore from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sat., May 22.

The program provides parents with the vital tools recommended by the FBI in case of a missing child, and is endorsed by John Walsh, one of the most recognized and trusted names in crime fighting. Participants receive free biometric fingerprinting, digital photography, an in-home DNA sample kit and a child safety journal to parents for their child or children.

According to officials, parents greatly increase their chance of quickly recovering a missing child if they provide an FBI certified biometric 10-digit fingerprint profile, a DNA sample, a high resolution full color photo and current statistical information.

SanTan Honda Superstore is located at 1150 S. Gilbert Rd. in Chandler, north of the Santan Freeway Loop 202. For details, call 480-285-2800 or visit www.santanhonda.com.
