‘Primp For Prom’ contest at V’s

V’s Barbershop announces its “Primp for Prom” contest that is running over its social media networks via Twitter, Facebook and MySpace. The contest, geared toward high school prom-goers, asks students to submit photos or videos of their own hair-do, or that of a classmate’s, who are in dire need of a “primp” before the big day.

“We’ve built our business by continuing to connect with the local community,” says Jim Valenzuela, V’s Barbershop founder and CEO. “This contest is just another way for V’s to say thank you to our patrons and to have some fun. We have great groups of young gentlemen … who are V’s customers and we wanted to help them look their best for one of their most important high school milestone events.’”

Chandler High students can still enter in time for their May 8 prom, although Hamilton and Perry High have already had their proms. V’s will choose nine winners from high schools around the Valley who will receive a Prom Day haircut that includes hot towel, shoulder massage and neck shave. Additionally, one grand prize winner will receive a Prom Day haircut with all the trimmings, a $50 Visa gift card for dinner and a gift card to Phoenix Flower Shop for a corsage and boutonniere purchase.

For more information or to enter, visit V’s Barbershop via its social networks at:

Facebook: Vs-Barbershop/60547570891
