Women’s Council, Ambassadors, Tech groups meet

The Chandler Chamber Women’s Council meets at 8 a.m. Tue., May 4 at Courtyard by Marriott at Chandler Fashion Center, 1100 S. Price Rd. in Chandler. Sponsored by Courtyard by Marriott, the free event is entitled “Look Great ~ Feel Great ~ Make a Statement!” and features Diane Deutsch and Jean Flis of Premier Designs Jewelry; Jan Moses of Mary Kay Cosmetics; and Dr. Lisa Fuller. Registrations are being accepted on the Chamber’s website at www.chandlerchamber.com by clicking on the Calendar of Events and selecting Women’s Council Meeting. Then, the Ambassadors Committee meeting is at noon on Tue., May 4 at the Chandler Chamber office, 25 S. Arizona Pl., Suite 201 in downtown Chandler. The Ambassadors serve as hosts for Chamber events, and are the liaison between the Chamber and the business community. The Technology Committee meeting is from noon to 1 p.m. Thu., May 6 at the Chamber office, and will focus on the more technical side for roundtable discussions and the marketing skills members may need to develop. The next Technology Corner Lunch Seminar series will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thu., May 13 at the Chamber office. Presented by Jason Duncan and Ralph Mason with Bluewire Communications, the subjects include VoIP, Telephone Systems & Service; What is Voice over Internet Protocol? Standard “Analog” Phone Services; Residential service choices; Traditional PBX and VoIP Technology; and Making the right choice for your business.

Cost is $5 for members, $10 for non members. RSVPs are required, as seating is limited and a deli-style lunch and beverage is included.
