of golf than introducing it to others. As the spring and summer months approach, this opportunity is ever-present, with longer days and warmer temperatures encouraging everyone to take advantage of the outdoors. Many adult golfers were brought into the game as junior golfers. Whether through junior camps, clinics or competi- tion, the time shared with family and friends while walking the links creates lifetime memories. The values instilled by virtue of participation make golf an ideal activity for all ages. Everyone is encouraged to be an active
participant in the growth of the game. Whether as a liaison at a local golf club or with community organizations such as The First Tee of Portland, The Children’s Course, or the Executive Women’s Golf Association (EWGA), involvement ensures the future of golf. Junior golf camps offered by MAC this summer provide a similar opportunity for MAC members who may not have been able to participate otherwise. Anyone who would like additional infor-
