Anthony ‘Tony’ J. Girginis

Anthony “Tony” J. Girginis, 22, of Hudson, died unexpectedly on April 25, 2010, in Hudson. He was born December 27, 1987, in Nashua, son of John and Patricia (Roy) Girginis of Hudson. Tony was recently employed as a

framer with Steel and Woodworks. He previously worked with his family at their restaurant, Nick’s Roast Beef, in Hudson. He was a dedicated worker and loved being around his family and friends. He enjoyed listening to Classic

Rock and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Besides his loving parents survivors include three brothers

and two sisters-in-law, Frank and Stephanie Girginis of Nashua, Angelo and Jessica Girginis of Manchester, and William Girginis of Hudson; a sister and brother-in-law, Sotiria and Andre’ Martinez of Salem; his maternal grandparents, Mary-Ann and Joseph Puntonio of Cambridge, MA; two nieces, Bella Girginis of Nashua and Lula Girginis of Manchester, who was also his Goddaughter; as well as many dear aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

His paternal grandparents, Angelo and Angela Girginis, predeceased him. A funeral Mass was celebrated on April 29 in St. Philip Greek Orthodox Church in Nashua. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery in Nashua. Arrangements were under the care of the Dumont-Sullivan

Gertrude Constance Eaton

Gertrude Constance Eaton, 83, of Litchfield, died April 21, 2010, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack. Mrs. Eaton was born in Londonderry on February 9, 1927, daughter of the late George and Beatrice (Ashford) Gagne. She was a resident of Litchfield for the past 15 years, formerly

living most of her life in Londonderry and Derry. After 20 years, she retired in 1993 from Treasure Masters in Derry. She had previously worked for Klev-Bro Shoe in Derry and Salvage Shoe in Manchester. She was an avid crafter, enjoyed baking, growing flowers and watching the birds. She is survived by two sisters, Gloria Myrdek and Phyllis Dunham, both of Manchester; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur M. Eaton, in 2007, and by her siblings, Ernest Gaines, Kenneth Gagne, Glover Gagne, Lillian Crawford, Ruth Madden and Rosetta Pelletier. A graveside service was held on April 26 at Forest Hill Cemetery in East Derry. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street in Derry handled arrangements.
