The City of Mount Holly is committed to sustainable practices in its building use and in services. Be sure to visit the Citizens Center, the City’s stunning renovation of a grand old mill building that consolidates many departments under one roof. The Grand Hall provides a beautiful 2-story atrium that can be rented for functions, plus conference and training rooms are available for community use. Please visit the City’s website for current information: www.mtholly.us.

Festivals and events are great ways to experience Mount Holly – there’s something for everyone!

Don’t miss Springfest,

on the first Saturday of May, celebrating Mount Holly‘s diversity through entertainment, food and crafts. You can

kickoff the day by joining the 5K race! Visit the Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings starting the second weekend in May. Throughout spring and summer, enjoy a variety of concerts and movies in the newly renovated Tuckaseege Park - it boasts a new amphitheatre, Dog Park, ball fields and views of the Catawba River. The fall brings Autumn on Main, a harvest and arts celebration, and Mount Hollydays in December

features a fine Arts Gallery, among other festivities downtown. Check dates and times by visiting www.mounthollyfoundation.org.

Take a walk on Mount Holly's Greenway trails in its two largest parks: Tuckaseege near its southern border and Mountain Island Park to the north. When completed, there will be 11 miles of trails for hikers and bicyclists, plus kayak and canoe access. Located in the center of the 15-county Carolina Thread Trail, Mount Holly's Catawba River Greenway is one of its defining projects. From the Foundation’s Greenway page at www.mounthollyfoundation.org you can get the latest updates and link to the FROGS Facebook page!

There are many ways to get involved in this vibrant community. Join the Foundation - as a member or a volunteer. Serve on one of the City's many committees and have a direct impact on community issues. Or, if you're just in town to visit, enjoy exploring the festivities that await you.
