Officer for Devon, from the South West branch, said: ‘The Ladies Night Dinner and Dance has become very popular and is looked forward to each year by many in the construction industry in the region.
‘This year, the dinner and dance will be held on Friday, February 26. We have booked the whole of the Langstone Cliff Hotel, including accommodation, for the event. Tables and individual tickets can now be purchased.
‘I can be contacted on 01409 211470 or mobile 07812 029434.
‘Branch secretary/treasurer Rob Bennett is on mobile 07545 107070.’ The Benevolent Fund
(registered charity no. 205670) is dedicated to giving aid and assistance to construction workers and their families who suffer accident or ill health. Much of the funding for the
Benevolent Fund is raised by the functions and social gatherings organised by the Lighthouse Club branches around the country and aboard. For further details of the Lighthouse Club, please ring 0161 429 0022, or check out the website at www.
lighthouseclub.org. The charity is always grateful for additional benefactors. If you would like to help, the annual fee is just £20 per year.
