Heating engineers have relocated
A MACKMURDIE Ltd, which has recently relocated to Bideford in North Devon, is a family firm of heating engineers who specialise in green energy systems and applications. Proprietor Mike Mackmurdie and his wife Jill explained that the company was established in 1953 by Mike’s father, Arthur.
Mike joined in 1976 and served his apprenticeship. In 1992, he took over running the business when his father retired. Nearly a decade later, in 2001,
they moved to Devon. Mike has gained additional qualifications in the use of biomass and solar water heating to integrate with his extensive knowledge and
