EMPTY BOWLS PROJECT RAISES FUNDS FOR CBI'S HUNGER PROJECT
Coronado High School recently sponsored it's annual Empty Bowls Project to raise money to support our Hunger Project. Students and local artisans hand-crafted ceramic bowls. Attendees at the event made donations to purchase the bowls and enjoyed a simple meal and entertainment. They took home their bowls and the satisfaction of contributing to a program that feeds hundreds of needy San Diegans weekly at the St. Vincent de Paul Center.
We thank Coronado High School teacher, project chair Eric
Rempke, his students, the CBI members and the many others who attended to support Empty Bowls and the Hunger Project.
