Windham Recreation is pleased to announce
that the Story Dance Touring Company, a
division of area non-profit arts entity, New England Dance Ensemble, will be performing in Windham. Each spring, Story Dance Touring Company gives area youth the opportunity to present plays associated with morally based stories. Area children ages 5- 12 audition for roles with this company, and gain valuable skills working with acting and dance professionals. They then take their shows “on tour,” offering free performances to area schools and programs. Young audiences adore the shows and relate well to child actors. Older folks are charmed by their youthful enthusiasm. New York-based Director Kate Mullen plans to bring the show to the Windham Senior Center at 1 p.m. The show is free. RSVP by May 1 to the Recreation Office at
Recreation@WindhamNewHampshire.com.

Regarding the story written by Doug
Robinson in the April 16 edition of the Pelham~Windham News regarding the Cell Tower, Mr. Robinson was quoted that Cellco Partners petitioned to have a parcel of land rezoned from Residential to Commercial. The Parcel in question is zoned Rural, not Residential. In addition, a variance does not rezone property. This can only be done at a Town Meeting. A variance would only allow a Commercial use on the property. Thank you to the reader for this
correction.
