Fish and Game Chili Cook-off

It’s a family affair! My daughter Simone and I are inseparable here at the shelter and want to go to our new home together too. We’re both very playful and active

kitties, and when it is time for a nap, I love to cuddle up with her. I like to be patted and held and will be happy in a home with calm dogs and children. I’m just 2 and a half years old and have my best

years ahead of me! Like all of the animals here at the shelter, Simone and I are

neutered/spayed, up to date on all of our vaccines, and microchiped. Please

consider bringing us home to your family.

ADOPT-A-PET

While my mother, Minnie and I have different color coats, we have the same beautiful green eyes and silky fur. I am

outgoing and enjoy meeting the people and children who come by the shelter to visit, and I love when they give me lots of attention! I like to play and have fun with the other cats here, and of course nothing beats snuggling and lounging with my mom. She is my best friend, and we are very happy together. Please stop by and visit us. We’re eager to meet you and find our new home!.

‘If One-to-One Patient Care is Important, St. Joseph Hospital is the Place for You’

by Doug Robinson

St. Joseph Hospital recently celebrated the grand opening of their new facility, located at 208 Robinson Rd. in Hudson. The new facility hosts more than 30,000 square feet of modern, energy-efficient space, offering more comprehensive health services under one roof, writes Hudson’s Chamber of Commerce. The two-day open house offered by St. Joseph provided their clients with free seminars on women’s health, blood pressure clinics, bone density clinics, as well as giveaways and refreshments. “We are especially proud of our energy-efficient building,” commented Bob Demers, Director of Operations for St. Joseph Hospital, “…especially with its geothermal heating and cooling system. We have three wells from which we draw water so that it remains a constant 54 degrees. Two wells drive into the ground to levels of 1,500 feet, while the third well has been driven to a depth of 800 feet. We believe this is a state-of-the-art facility.” Interim CEO Jim Cassidy commented that they are very happy to be a part of this community. “I am very proud of this building and I am sure we will be able to provide the area residents with the medical services they require for years to come,” he continued. While St. Joseph Hospital does not perform any surgery at their new location, several local doctors have transferred their practices there. The new facility has not only several family practicing physicians, but also rehabilitation services and X-ray and lab facilities on premise to assist the doctors and the patients.
