Low Energy Lighting Questions Answered
Significant media and Internet comment recently has highlighted the fact that ordinary incandescent light bulbs are being withdrawn from general sale in the UK.
This has raised a number of issues, including the way in which the switch over to low energy light bulbs has been handled by the Government, health & safety concerns, recycling challenges, the perceived economics of using the new types, and complaints about both performance and light quality.
Megaman – one of the world’s largest manufacturers of low energy lighting products - has now produced a collection of five short videos to explain simply how common misconceptions have complicated the current situation, and what the true facts are.
The videos feature interviews with Adrian Kitching, the firm’s UK Sales Director, and have been posted on the company’s website and on YouTube.
