Swapping Learning For Trees!
At Ecobuild Bona will be encouraging architects and designers to swap learning about sustainable floor finishes for trees! The company has long supported an agroforestry project in Africa and has promised to plant a tree for every person employed by a practice which books a Bona CPD seminar during the exhibition period! Bona offers a range of training courses for contractors at its HQ in Milton Keynes and two RIBA approved CPD seminars for architects and other specifiers. Trees will be planted in return for any courses or seminars booked during the show period via the Stockholm based organisation, Vi-Skogen.

Bona has launched new Mega Extra Matt, its newest waterborne, low VOC lacquer. Designed to deliver a sustainable solution for specifiers looking for a totally matt wooden surface, Bona Mega Extra Matt is suitable for homes and commercial spaces with normal wear. New Mega Extra Matt was presented at Ecobuild alongside Bona’s new Traffic Anti Slip coating, Bona Naturale, which retains the natural texture of the wooden surface, Bona Novia for domestic and lighter commercial use and Bona’s traditional and Hard Wax Oils.
Flooring and walling specialist Altro has been named Manufacturer of the Year for the fourth year running by FeRFA, the Resin Flooring Association. FeRFA contractors were asked to vote online and rate manufacturers on a number of criteria such as customer service, product range and quality, technical back up. Altro scooped the coveted
