Balcony glazing provides simplicity and clarity to contempory living. The all-glass facade to the balconies was supplied by
Solarlux Systems Ltd
and utilises the SL25. The frameless slide and turn system allows the balcony to be used all-year round. There are also no sight lines to obstruct the views and the system will withstand wind and rain as well as reducing external noise levels. A bonus is the passive solar energy gain, in effect using the balconies as a source of insulation.

The external elevations of Central House, a 3-storey office building in Harrogate, have been transformed by Structura UK Ltd in a phased contract over 40 weeks worth £2.5 million. The original curtain walling had sprung minor leaks and come to the end of its useful life. Over 750 vision units were replaced with new dual seal, double glazing units, and the old aluminium panels were replaced by over 900, double glazed, spandrel panels. Structura UK also removed the old, manual swing doors to the main entrance, and installed a new revolving door together with one automatic pass door and one manual door.
Curved Glass Canopies Complete Stylish Facade
Factory building for Branston Ltd in Lincolnshire has been designed to incorporate a contemporary glazed main entrance featuring curtain walling over which is a curved glass canopy spanning 2.6m. A second canopy of a similar size has been installed above the staff entrance to the building.
