The event, organized by Recreation and Athletics for the Disabled (RAD), and the City of Chandler, features a live deejay from Limelight spinning golden oldies, dancing and root beer floats. Guests are encouraged to attend in 1950s-style attire. RAD is a nonprofit organization founded by parents of the disabled and other concerned citizens

Arizona Fun Run for Special Olympics,

A 4.2-K, or 2.6-mile run, is followed by a 2.1-K, or 1.3-mile run, at 8:30 a.m. Special Olympics athletes participate in the run and are on hand to meet and greet.
