SMALL INVERTERS FOR PORTABILITY

The Thermal Arc Arcmaster 175SE and 175TE are tough, compact and portable, medium duty welding inverters featuring infinitely adjustable welding current from 5-175 Amps. Both machines feature Thermal Overload Protection, excellent portability, 50mm output terminals and a 2 Year Warranty.

Arcmaster 175SE is a 230V single phase inverter power- source for MMA and Lift TIG. It comes complete in a carry case with electrode holder and leads. Arcmaster 175TE is a 230V single phase inverter power- source for MMA, Lift TIG and HF TIG and has additional features including adjustable arc control, adjustable down slope control and 2T/4T Trigger control. It also comes complete in a carry case with TIG torch, electrode holder and leads.

MIG/MAG, TIG, MMA WELDING À LA CARTE

PICOMIG 180 is a portable multi-process inverter power source, which is not only incredibly powerful but also versatile, weighing only 15kgs. It is ideal for MIG/MAG welding using solid as well as with self-shielding cored wire (Ø 200 mm pin reels). It can also be used for TIG welding (Liftarc) and MMA welding.

Its maximum output of 180 amperes on site, even with high mains tolerances (-40% to +15%), it supplies a 30 percent duty cycle even at ambient temperatures of 40° C. In this way, the single phase machine (230 V) offers unrestricted operation with generators and long mains leads. PICOMIG 180 has 30 programs for the most common MIG/MAG joining tasks.

GETTING CUT INTO METALS

PL120 is a 3-phase portable microprocessor-controlled inverter based power source for plasma cutting of metals with maximum cut of 60mm and a 50% duty cycle. It is designed for medium and heavy duty steelwork made of mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium or aluminium alloys. Cutting parameters are set by means of the fully digital control board, which assures process quality and reproducibility. Pilot arc is started by high frequency. An automatic restart device allows the continuous cutting of punched plates and grids. It is equipped with appropriate safety devices to ensure their performance. It is manufactured in full compliance with European standards.

GETTING AROUND PIPE.. THE AUTOMATED WAY

Pipe KAT® Welding System automates a variety of orbital welding applications using a variable speed welding travel carriage, with a maximum speed of 40 IPM, complete with integrated wire feeder, linear oscillation with motorized adjustable weave width and weld joint centerline adjustment. It comes with a main control box on a 12 ft. umbilical and 27 ft. of gas hose and ground cable. It also has a wire feed spool with 10 lb. capacity, maximum wire speed of 720 IPM and a wire size range of 0.8 to 1.4 mm.

A pendant on 12 ft. of cable controls the carriage speed, job wire speed and jog, vertical side adjustments, oscillation width and centerline adjustment along with start/stop and emergency stop buttons.

REVOLUTIONISING TIG WELDING

Qualitas Technology, Rehm's International Partner for the UK has launched their INVERTIG.PRO range of TIG machines. REHM GmbH Schweißtechnik are show casing the INVERTIG.PRO range at Schweissen und Schneiden 2009.

The new range revolutionises TIG welding and is offered in 240A, 280A, 350A and 450A models in either AC/DC or DC outputs. The new BI-POWER inverter technology offers 100% Duty Cycle on every model for un-interrupted TIG Welding, High Frequency pulsing from 10 to 3000 Hz and probably the greatest power to weight ratio available today - 450A AC/DC only 29.5kg!

PROCESS FOR EFFECTIVE ROOT PASS WELDING

The 3-phase FastMig™ Synergic MIG/MAG welding systems with either the SF 52 or SF 53 function control panel and optional FastROOT™ process software are designed for accurate weld root pass welding with mild and stainless steels used in industrial pipe and tube installations as well as heavy to medium fabrication work. FastMig™ Synergic provides the welder with a choice of energy saving KMS 300, 400 and 500 power sources and MSF53, 55 and 57 wire feed units for 200mm or 300mm wire spools, plus the option of either the SF52 or 53 control panel for root pass welding, which have all the basic functions plus crater filling, hot and creep start and memory for storing welding parameters.
