about some real quality thyme? Bodmin Plant and Herb Nursery can bring you the real thing as it celebrates its annual Herb Festival on Saturday and Sunday, April 24 and 25 – a relaxed event for growers and lovers of herbs and herb-based products. Knowledgeable staff from the five-acre nursery will also be on hand to advise on the growing of herbs and more than 200 varieties of herbs will be for sale, including perennial favourites such as thyme, rosemary and

sage, but also some more unusual varieties such as sugar leaf and burn-jelly plant. Food features highly and Dorset food expert Cheryl Bouchier will once again be enticing taste buds with samples and recipes such as wild rocket and walnut pesto, strawberry and tarragon jam and honey and thyme biscuits.

Herb-based refreshers, such as the famous, classic Mint Mojito will be available, complete with fascinating, yet edible, flower ice-cubes! Enjoy a cooling glass on the day and then why not re- create at home with the recipes and herbs available? Alongside the Herb Salad Bar, Bodmin-based Mount
