The Rockingham Area Youth Swim (RAYS) Club recently competed at the New Hampshire State Swim Association meet, the final meet of the team’s 2010 fall- winter season. The finals were held March 19-21 at the Phillips Academy in Exeter. A total of 18 teams that are members of the New Hampshire State Swim Association competed at this meet with the RAYS placing sixth overall. In particular, the 10 and under groups had very promising showings with many Manta (beginner) RAYS composing part or all of the scoring relay teams. Several Manta RAYS also scored in their individual events and nearly all had personal bests at this meet, showing great promise for future years of swim. Congratulations to all of the swimmers that competed for a great meet!
