NH Again Named Safest State in the Nation; Earns Distinction for Third Year in a Row
submitted by Colin Manning
CQ Press has named New Hampshire the “Safest State” in the nation for 2010. This is the third year in a row that New Hampshire has earned the distinction as the safest state in the nation. “I am proud that working together, we continue to keep New Hampshire the safest state in the nation. Our low crime rate has long been a part of what makes this such a great place to live and work, and it is important that we work to maintain our high quality of life,” Governor Lynch said. “Again, this recognition is not possible without the hard work and dedication of the men and women of New Hampshire law enforcement who work every day to help keep us all safe.”
The Crime State Rankings are published annually
