Break Time

Break Time classes occurring in April and May are still open for residents and non-resident registration at www.chandleraz.gov/breaktime. For you early planners, the summer Break Time will available the

third week in April and registration will start Saturday, May 8 for residents (May 14 for non-residents).

Easter Event Saturday!

The Family Easter Celebration at Snedigar Sportsplex (4500 S. Alma School Rd.) is Saturday, April 3 from 9 a.m.-noon. TRC Health Fair

Tumbleweed Recreation Center will mark its second anniversary with a Health & Wellness Fair on Wednesday, April 21 from 4-8 p.m. during the weekly Family Night activity. This event is free and open to the public and will feature a variety of vendors in the sports, fitness and nutrition industries. EEC Celebrates 2nd Anniversary & Earth Day!

The Environmental Education Center will celebrate its second anniversary on Saturday, April 24 with a free Earth Day event for all ages from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

There will be free nature-oriented activities and demonstration booths. The EEC is located at the northeast corner of Lindsay and Chandler Heights roads 480-782-2890; www.chandleraz.gov/veterans-oasis).

Dive-In Movie

Mesquite Groves Aquatic Center will host a “Dive-In” Movie Night on Saturday, April 24 at 7:30 p.m. with a showing of “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl” (PG-13). Sit poolside or float in the water and enjoy the action on the screen! Admission is $0.75 for children, $2 for adults and $1 for seniors. EEC Nature Events

The Environmental Education Center (EEC) hosts its last Sonoran Sunset Series on Wednesday, April 7 from 6-7 p.m. This is a free, all ages event with a band that performs percussion with movement arts and recycled objects. “Family Night” continues every Wednesday at
