1st Annual Rawhide Stuntman
Rodeo, 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. April 3, Rawhide Western Town & Steakhouse, 5700 W. North Loop Rd., Chandler. Headlining the event are stunt legends Spanky Spangler, Ron Nix, Pat Larkin and Rodd Wolf. A highlight of the Rawhide Town activities is a performance by a reunion of Roughriders from the past 28 years in Rawhide’s Six Gun Theater. Shows are scheduled every 30 minutes beginning at 5:30 p.m. Arizona Roughriders, Southwest Stunt Association and Rawhide are holding the fundraiser to help stuntman Jayson James pay his medical bills after being injured while performing a dangerous stunt on the movie set of “Western X.” Rodeo tickets are $10 and do not include Town Passes, which cost $15 and provide unlimited access to all Town attractions. Instead of a Town Pass, visitors may choose to pay $5 admission per show/attraction. Info: 480-502-5600, www.rawhide.com.
