InPockets expands meals, bakery
Morning and noon meals are now being served at InPockets Bakery & Catering in downtown Chandler, and new bakery items have been added. Joining the InPockets operation are Hector and Lupe Velazquez, who previously owned a Gilbert business. Hector was a pastry chef in California prior to coming to Arizona. They join Julie Mayberry, catering consultant and cake designer, and Steve Schliening, bakery manager.
“We look forward to serving the Valley with this expanded venue as we have the past seven years,” Schliening says. “We invite SanTan Sun readers to come see what’s new.”
Breakfast and lunch are available from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday. Fresh brewed coffees, espresso, Chai and herbal teas are also available.

Wine café offers ‘Pigs & Pinot’
Enjoy a selection of pork cuisine, craft beer and fine wines from more than 40 wineries at The Living Room Wine Café and Lounge’s inaugural “Pigs & Pinot” evening, held 2 to 10 p.m. Sat., April 10. The outdoor event takes place in Downtown Ocotillo on the lawn south of The Living Room at 2475 W. Queen Creek Rd. and will include blues and classic rock by the Carvin Jones Band and pop rock by the group Take Cover!
Admission is $10 per person, and food and beverages tickets are available for $1 each. Guests younger than 21 must be accompanied by an adult.

Audio Video Editors is settled into a new suite at The Falls at Ocotillo and will hold a party starting at 4:30 p.m. Tue., April 6 to commemorate the move and their third anniversary in business. “This will definitely be another event to remember,” says owner Clay Novick, who runs the business with wife Jennifer.

“This time of year, our video photo collages are extremely popular for graduations and other family events,” he adds.
A post production company since 2007, Novick says they get daily requests for video work. So, AVE will also offer in-house video production in the next few months.
