plane to circle over the city due to the fact that only one plane can land and unload at a time. I was reminded of Psalm 46:1 (“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in time of trouble”), as we anticipated trying to minister to the people of Haiti. Then, I was saddened when a person sitting next to one of our team members on the plane was critical of him for taking advantage of the earth- quake to come to Haiti for the purpose of presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the people. After arriving in Port-Au-Prince and

hen we arrived at Port-Au- Prince with part of the BMMI team, it was necessary for the
securing our luggage, we boarded a small plane and flew to Mole St. Nicolas. Upon arriving there, we traveled over land by truck to Bombardopolis. There, we would minister physically and spiritually to those who had returned to the mountains where they had family members. The follow-up on fractures, lacerations, and other injuries was greatly appreciated by those returning to the mountain village and their families who lived there. There were many heart-breaking
stories of the loss of the lives of family members in the collapse of buildings in Port-Au-Prince. In many cases, children were never found and were carried away
