FOOD FOR THOUGHT SPRING SHOW

Ron and Simon Boulter of Tavistock own and operate the West Country Branch of
Oakhouse Foods, who supply and deliver, direct to the customer, a huge range of frozen ready meals throughout Devon, Cornwall and most of Somerset.
Says Ron, “We are the largest franchise of Oakhouse Foods Ltd., a national company which procures the food to their own very high specifications for delivery throughout the U.K. We also deliver a wide range of groceries and have recently introduced a selection of ‘homeware’ and mobility products. All of our products are aimed primarily at the more elderly market and particularly those who are unable or unwilling to shop and cook for themselves. We work very closely with many of the organisations who work for or look after the elderly and disabled and we are proud to be the holder of the contract to supply frozen meals to Plymouth City Council
Community Services. In a ground- breaking move for 2010 we are holding our own exhibition to introduce our company to an even wider market who we feel could benefit from our services.”
Apart from introducing their product to a wider audience, Oakhouse Foods want the event to be a useful and entertaining day out for the ‘older’ market and have invited local companies and organisations to take exhibition space to promote their services where they feel they would be of particular interest to this age group. The exhibitors are very varied and will provide a wide range of useful information from legal, financial and property problems to home care, hearing and health matters.

the Mayor of Tavistock and there will be live music from the Teign Valley Stompers Jazz Band and a performance by Tavistock Primary School Choir.
There will also be other ‘spot’ entertainers, a prize draw, food demonstrations and tastings from Oakhouse’s stand; a free cream tea for those who visit all the
exhibitors - and much more. Light refreshments will be
available all day.
