SCIENCE WITH ALL THE SQUISHY, DISGUSTING & EXPLOSIVE BITS LEFT IN!
Horrible Science comes to the stage for the first time in 2010 with a visit to Plymouth Pavilions from Thursday 27 to Saturday 29 May.
HORRIBLE SCIENCE
Birmingham Stage Company, who have had such success recently with their stage adaptations of six Horrible Histories books, will be touring an exciting new production based on the popular Horrible Science books by Nick Arnold with illustrations by Tony de Saul. Using actors and some amazing 3D Bogglevision special effects, BSC’s new Horrible Science show, adapted for the stage by Mark Williams, attempts to find the awful answers to such important questions as: What are millions of animals doing in your kettle? Why don’t penguins get spots? Why do rabbits eat the same food twice? Why doesn’t the moon wander off? Could a 10 million volt battery float over your head? And how long would it take for your heart to pump enough blood to fill the theatre? Horrible Science, suitable for all ages 6+ is directed by Phil Clark with designs by Jacqueline Trousdale and a cast including Benedict Martin and Laura Dalgleish. Neal Foster, BSC’s Actor/Manager said: “Science was not my best subject at school! So we’re determined to make this show the solution for all those children
