Traidcraft, Komodo and Five G, plus creations by local designers were on show as part of the Fairtrade Fashion Challenge. Clem Short, one of the organisers, commented, “The evening was a wonderful mix of a showcase of Fairtrade and recycled fashion and also a demonstration of the many and varied talents of the people of Chesham.”

Colin Cartwright, Chair of Chesham4Fairtrade, said, “Our four poetry judges (Sue Lacey, Cally Foster, Nicola Hobbs and Mairi Lubelska) were impressed with the quality of the over 200 poems submitted to the Fairtrade Poetry Competition.

“The winning poems by Connor Pepper (5-8s), Hollie Thubron (9-12s) and Elizabeth Patterson (21+) are on display at present at Chesham Library. Hollie’s poem, ‘You'll Look Back’ was the overall winner of the competition.”
