Parent/Baby Dedication
Parents, if you are members of Idlewild and actively involved in an Adult Bible Fellowship Class for the last 13 weeks, we invite you to publicly dedicate your baby to the Lord. You may complete information for scheduling your baby’s dedication online at www.idlewild.org, keyword: “Preschool,” or pick up a brochure in the Preschool area. Please schedule before your child is 6 months old.
Preschool Classes
Preschool is available for children, ages birth through Pre-K, during all Bible Fellowship and worship service hours. You may drop your child at their classroom 15 minutes before a service begins. This allows teachers adequate time to prepare and will minimize disruptions to the class in session.
Volunteer in Preschool
Allow God to minister through you, as you share His love with our little ones. V.I.P. Training is held the first Sunday of each month at 11:00 a.m. in Room A112. Participants must be members who have been attending regularly for a minimum of six months. Many helping hands and loving hearts are needed on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights.
MOPs
Our “Mothers of Preschoolers” group meets each month for the purpose of nurturing mothers of children from birth through age five, helping women to be the best moms they can be. MOPs is about celebrating motherhood, sharing personal experiences, making connections, and experiencing God’s love through relationships and mentoring. For more information, call the Preschool office at 264-8795.

Share Your Story
In 2008, I called the church for help following the death of my new born baby. The love and support I received from Idlewild gave me hope and the assurance of God’s presence. I want to say thank you and give back by sharing some of the poetry which I write. God is good all the time, because I now have a healthy baby boy name Kesley.

Jesus Love
Jesus love is wonderful as a parent bringing new life to the world. Jesus love is great as a victory is to His enemies.
Jesus love is fulfilling as a desire to a dream coming true. Jesus love is power as a leader is to his followers.
Jesus love is loved as a spouse, friend, parent and sibling is to you.
The Alarm of the Lord Is Ringing
Ring, the alarm of the Lord is ringing the bells to your heart.
Wake up now to worship His name. As you enter His gate with
thanksgiving. As you enter His court with praises, giving Him all the glory through singing, praying, dancing, reading Scripture from the Bible and lifting your hands to heaven for all He has done.
Ring, the alarm of the Lord is ringing the bells to your soul.
Wake up now as your body is filled with the Holy Spirit giving you peace, joy, and kindness. As you enter His gate with thanksgiving. As you enter His court with praises giving Him all the glory through your love to show others that Christ lives within you. Through your grace, compassion, sympathy.
Ring, the alarm of the Lord is here to dwell in your house as you
dwell in his house. As you are now the bell that is ringing the alarm to many who are seeking the truth of righteousness in our Savior that is called Jesus Christ.
Oh, ring the alarm...
Do not forget, nor turn away from the words of my mouth. Do not forsake her, and she will preserve you; Love her, and she will keep you. Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.”
Proverbs 4:4-7 (NKJV)
“Let your heart retain my words; Keep my commands, and live. Get wisdom! Get understanding!
