MACROBERTSON SHIELD OFFICIAL WEBSITE
Get ready for the August MacRobertson Shield competition by checking out the official MacRobertson Shield website at www.macrobertsonshield2010.org. The website contains the full schedule for the event plus information on the venues and teams. It also has a commentary section that suggests it will provide updates on the event. Thirteen additional countries are expected to participate in Tiers 2, 3 and 4 of the expanded event.

MCA ANNOUNCES 2010 SCHEDULE
The Missouri Croquet Association (MCA) announced their official 2010 schedule last month. The MCA has eight events on tap with a final date still to be determined for the Midwest Open in July. There is also discussion about adding a Fourth of July golf croquet tournament at the Kactus Creek Croquet Club in Parkville, Missouri. WCF MOVING FAST WITH NEW TOURNEYS
The WCF is moving forward with plans for an "World Over 50 Golf Croquet Championship" to be held this October in Egypt. This comes after the WCF sought feedback from member associations on the event along with a possible World Women's Association Croquet Championship. You can see the responses for the Women's event on the WCF website, but there does seem to be opposition based on the position that croquet is thought of as a gender-equal sport. There also seems to be concern that the WCF is diluting the "World Championship" title with too many events.
