Te Red Dress Luncheon and Fashion Show, chaired by Sandy
Best, was held February 5, 2010, at the Hilton Riverside. More than 340 guests came together to support the NHRMC Foundation’s Red Dress Project and its efforts to support women’s cardiac health educa- tion, screenings and awareness. Te event featured a luncheon, fashion show and a nursing education component. Rep. Becky Carney of Meck- lenburg County served as the keynote speaker relating her own story to the importance of heart disease education and awareness in women.
