to the community involves free weekly workshops offered not only to his pa- tients but to anyone in the community who’d like to participate. Workshops are on the most relevant health topics. This month includes: “Stress Busters That Promote Optimal Health,” “Fighting Seasonal Allergies Naturally,” as well as “The Standard Process Cleanse and Detoxification Program.” Dr. Caminez explains, “We are an educational center first and foremost. Chiropractic care is at the core of what we do, but I believe that we would be falling short if we failed to also educate people about how to better take care of their health. This way, our patients learn tools that include: home exercises, stress management, healthy ways of cleansing as well as a variety of other health approaches and are much less dependant on us.”

olistic Hudson Valley is a networking group that brings together holistic enthusiasts throughout the lower Hudson
Valley region. These events were started by unrepentant net- workaholic Reverend Criss Ittermann of Liberated Life Coaching to help build the local holistic community throughout the region. According to Ittermann, “Finding other holistically-minded people in my area is so hit-or-miss—why not get everyone we can into one room together so we can actually meet and get to know each other? I saw how Hudson Valley Green Drinks is working out, and I wanted something similar, but different, for the local holistic community.” Events are held on the last Wednesday of the month, but times and locations
vary. On April 28, Holistic Hudson Valley is meeting from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Zampella Healing Arts located at 52 Millpond Parkway, Suite 101 in Monroe. A basic membership is $25 per year and includes free entrance to monthly events. Non-members pay $5 at the door.
