Saturdays at the studio. I go to the gym at around 6pm on weekdays and that encourages me leave the studio at a reasonable time. I keep my computer at home and do a lot of work there, such as, design work, website maintenance, administrative tasks, applications for commissions; I tend to do this in the evenings rather

than during regular working hours as I like to spend as much time as I can at the studio.

I always make time to see family and friends, take one or two holidays every year with my boyfriend and go away a lot during the summer hill walking in Scotland. My work

benefits from these breaks, I return rejuvenated and this is often when new ideas take seed.

What do you see for your future in the creative industry?

I aim to develop new ranges of home- ware and hopefully people will keep buying it allowing me to keep going. It would be interesting to work collaboratively with other crafts people/ designers, for example, to make ceramic inlays for handmade wood furniture. I would also like to develop sculptural work for exhibitions and be commissioned to produce some interesting large scale public or private artworks.
