readers up to date with services in the area. The sister publication of the Yellow Advertiser tells you about everything from local services to what’son offer. It follows in the footsteps of the
ELCOME to relaunch of Southend Extra –apublica- tion which aims to keep its
increasingly popular WickfordExtra, which is now in its 18th edition. Southend is situated on the north
side of the Thames estuary,around 40 miles east of London. As well as Southend, other towns
in the area include Chalkwell, Eastwood, Leigh-on-Sea, Prittlewell, Shoeburyness, Southchurch, Thorpe Bay and Westcliff-on-Sea. With apopulation of around 160,000, it is athriving area with a wide variety of shops, pubs and
restaurants. With abustling seafront –home to
the world’slongest pleasurepier – the area attracts thousands of visi- tors throughout the year. The area has good road and rail
