Masonic Open House Saturday, March 27

Freemasonry is a fraternity, not a religion, As a fraternal association dedicated to making good men better, Freemasonry respects the religious beliefs of all its members. Freemasonry has no theology and does not teach any method of salvation. In particular, it does not claim that good works gain or guarantee salvation. Freemasons are united in their desire to be of service to mankind. While Freemasonry supports homes for members and their spouses, most Masonic services, including Shrine medical and burn centers, are available to all citizens. In 1990, American Masonic philanthropy totaled more than $525 million, of which 58 percent went to the general public. Freemasonry is an open, not secretive, society. Masonic meetings are announced publicly,

Masonic buildings are marked clearly and are listed in phone directories, and arid Masons proudly wear jewelry identifying their membership. Freemasonry inherited a tradition of trade secrets from the cathedral-building guilds of medieval Europe. The only “secrets” still belonging to modern Masonry are traditional passwords, signs of recognition, and dramatic presentations of moral lessons. Freemasonry is open to all men of good

character who believe in God. Freemasonry does not discriminate on the basis

of race, religion, or social class. An Open House will be held Saturday,

March 27, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Pulpit Rock Lodge, 8 Tenney Road in Pelham. For more information, visit www.pulpitrocklodge.com, or call Walter F. Freeman at 432-4835.

Everclear Electrolysis: The Pluck Stops Here

by Doug Robinson

Everclear

Electrolysis, Hudson, is a customer- focused office owned and operated by Licensed and Certified Professional Electrologist (CPE) Rita Souza. With over 10 years of experience, Rita is able to tailor electrolysis treatments to the individual needs and budget of the customer, utilizing modern, computerized equipment and the highest sterilization standards.

Since 1875, the process of electrolysis for the permanent removal of unwanted hair has been the only 100-percent proven method to eliminate unwanted hair for both men and women. “With few exceptions, electrolysis can be provided on most body areas and on all skin types. Many people are surprised to find out just how affordable electrolysis is, especially when compared to other non-permanent hair removal methods.” After receiving successful electrolysis treatments herself, Rita decided to enter the profession to help others receive the satisfaction of having smooth, hair-free skin. Rita has earned degrees from the Electrology Institute of New England, an Associate’s Degree in Science at Northern Essex Community College, as well as earning the Certified Professional Electrologist designation. Since 2004, Everclear Electrolysis has been

providing customers with a cost-effective method of hair removal. “Every client is important to me, and so is their time. The phone is not answered during treatments or consultations. Time is allowed between treatments so that phone calls can be returned. Clients appreciate getting the full time that they have scheduled, and that they are the focus of my full attention during the time that

Rita Souza

is reserved exclusively for them.” Treatments are by appointment only and prices are based on the amount of time scheduled. A 15-minute visit is $25.00, a 30-minute visit is $35.00, a 45-minute visit is $45.00, and a one- hour visit is $55.00. Clients can expect an initial consultation at no charge, followed by a thorough health history assessment that will be conducted to fully understand any issues that could be related to excessive hair growth. “Factors such as hair growth cycles, the quantity and structure of hair present, previous use of temporary hair removal

methods, heredity, hormone function, and stress all influence the customization of your own treatment program.” As an active volunteer of the New Hampshire Electrolysis Association and American Electrology Association, Rita continues to expand her knowledge of the electrolysis profession by attending seminars, conventions, and lectures. Rita is the 2005 winner of the nationally recognized Golden Probe Award, which is given to an electrologist with less than 10 years of experience who has already greatly contributed to the electrolysis profession. She was recognized at the 2008 AEA Convention for her dedication to the electrolysis profession. She has also held many positions within the New Hampshire Electrolysis Association and American Electrology Association. If you’re looking for a permanent solution

to your unwanted hair, or are looking for follow-up to laser hair removal, call 883-2500 or visit www.everclearelec.com to schedule your no-obligation, free consultation, and trial treatment. Treatments and consultations are by appointment only. Like most clients say, “I should have done this years ago.”

Happy Feet Dance School

Happy Feet Dance School, LLC is a friendly dance school built on the belief that anyone can dance. The school focuses on each student’s unique potential to dance to the best of their own ability. Students are able to grow in a positive atmosphere with an emphasis on fun! The school was opened in the fall of 2005 under its current owner, Erica O’Donaghue. Since its early days, the school has offered classes in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Cheer Dance, and Lyrical to students of all ages. The school has proven to be very popular with its age-appropriate pre-school classes. New to Happy Feet this year is the Fancy Feet

Performance Company. This company allows the school’s older, more serious students the

opportunity to perform at Happy Feet events. The company performed in a holiday show this past December, and will be performing in a “Princess Show” this weekend. This program has been a positive experience for all students involved. It has allowed to older students an opportunity to choreograph pieces of their own performance. The program allowed the younger students to learn the importance of teamwork. Most importantly, all students had a wonderful time performing for their friends, family, and peers!

Happy Feet Dance School, LLC is currently planning their fun-filled summer programs. Feel free to call Erica at 434-4437 for more information.

It’s a Treatment as Individual as You Are.
