n Wednesday, April 7 Whole Foods Market in White Plains will donate
5% of their net sales to the Greenburgh Nature Center (GNC). Whole Foods al- ready partners with the GNC on the Cen- ter’s Sustainability Garden in Scarsdale, contributing plants and other materials. The Sustainability Garden will be a place for both passive and participatory learning about growing food in a sustain- able way, and serve as an adjunct to the Center’s sustainability programs. The Greenburgh Nature Center is a
33-acre woodland preserve with trails, pond, gardens and outdoor animal exhib- its, including a birds of prey aviary. Indoor exhibits include a live animal museum, a greenhouse with botanical exhibits, and a gift shop.
