Poetry Evenings

All welcome to join in this friendly poetry evening to read your own poetry or simply to listen to others.

For the first hour of the session, Haworth Hodgkinson will lead with the topic: ‘How to use the landscape as an inspiration for writing poetry’. All welcome!

Folk Session Nights
Our Folk Sessions are always held on the last Friday of the month at 8pm at Crathes Hall. Come along and join in if you play an instrument or sing or just want to listen, you’ll be made very welcome. Bring your own refreshments. £2 on the door. Full details at

Third Stage enjoy a talk on wool spinning
THIRD STAGE offers a varied programme of arts based activities for older people on Deeside. Weekly meetings are held on Wednesday mornings. The classes are friendly and informal, running from 10am – 12 noon with coffee being served from 9.45am. This quarter, Third Stage runs from Wednesday 14 April until Wednesday 30 June. Free transport may

After a term’s membership, members are entitled to participate in selected Woodend Barn Arts Centre workshops at a specially discounted rate.
