‘Tea and Style Show’ at Risen Savior
Youth group raises mission funds
Tickets go on sale beginning March 28 for The Women’s Missionary League of Risen Savior Lutheran Church’s annual Tea and Style Show, held 2 to 4 p.m. Sat., April 17 in Fellowship Hall.
Tickets are $15 and proceeds benefit previously designated local, national and global mission projects of LWML.
This year’s theme is “In the Garden,” chosen by Chairwoman Gerri Ried and her committee. Members will be models in the show, which is presented by the Dress Barn. The event also features music, entertainment and prizes, with members of the church’s Men’s Club serving and escorting attendees to their tables. Youth group
Risen Savior’s High School Group recently held its third annual fundraising gala at Oakwood Country Club.
The group uses funds raised to pay for summer mission trips. Two years ago, the youths traveled to Belize. Last year, they went to, Fresno, CA, and this year they plan to spend a week on Navajo Nation land.
