Chandler High Wolves

Unified squad – Several CHS Spiritline members reached out to help the community through Special Olympics. This year the City of Chandler Parks and Recreation created a unified cheer squad consisting of CHS cheerleaders and individuals with intellectual disabilities. The unified squad meets from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday nights and will compete in two competitions. Kudos – Spiritline competed at the 2010 Arizona State Pom and Cheer Tournament, with Scruffy taking second place in the Mascot division and Pom taking second place. Chandler High also won the Leadership Award, voted on by all the competition staff, for displaying the best sportsmanship and respect off the competition floor. High fives – The Chandler Winterguard received first place at Desert Edge High School’s Winterguard competition. The girls were presented with promotion pins at the awards ceremony by the president of Winterguard Arizona.
