LearningRx celebrates ‘brain awareness’
In honor of National Brain Awareness Month, Chandler’s LearningRx offers a free online quiz about the brain and its amazing ability to change. “Until the 1990s, scientists believed the brain was stagnant,” explains Matt Owen of LearningRx. “We now know that the brain is capable of change at any age, and that intensive one-on-one cognitive skills training can treat the root cause of learning struggles like ADHD, dyslexia or memory issues.”
Owen says with the right program, most children who have been labeled as having attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, or ADHD, can improve from three to five grade levels and around half are able to stop medications. To take LearningRx’s informative, 10-question quiz, visit the Brain Awareness page at www.LearningRx.com.
