this brooder stands on its own galvanised legs, raising it to a comfortable working height, and has a wire mesh front and
ﬂoor. Heat is provided by a stainless steel element and waste falls through the ﬂoor to the tray below.

wattage attraction light and is thermostatically controlled. Ventilated opaque side panels and clear front panels have
adjustable gates to cater for variable chick size. 1/2” wire mesh ﬂoor allows droppings to fall through into integral,
removeable droppings pan. All three side panels and back door are easily removeable for cleaning while brooder is
assembled. Troughs, which can be used for either feed or water, are attached to three sides and any trough may be ﬁtted
with optional automatic watering system. For quail or very small chicks, the wire mesh should be covered with DACB
board, paper towel or similar textured paper or plastic mesh for the ﬁrst 7 days and small plastic feeders and drinkers
should be placed inside the unit for the ﬁrst three weeks. A sturdy metal base with swivel castors is available as an
optional extra, which allows up to ﬁve brooders to be stacked on top of each other.
