Our recent grants
As the area’s largest grantmaker, the Foundation invests millions
to local nonprofits of dollars every year in the work and infrastructure of southeastern
Virginia’s most effective nonprofits. In addition to many grants
below $100,000, we make larger-scale, strategic investments
in complex, critical issues such as expanding early childhood
education and ending homelessness.
