Head Chef Veronica is responsible for the creative
menu; her cooking style has true sensibility and
can best be described as health conscious, fusion-
comfort cuisine. When I had the opportunity to talk
Ahi Poke
with her, I found her to be confident and cool with
a great outlook in regards to her creativity as a chef.
Actually, the entire team on duty was impressive and
we felt a genuine “Cheers with a restaurant” kind of
feel. That vibe and the great deals make it obvious
why they have a great following. Even the locals who
were passing by on foot waved to the staff through

windows; there was a fantastic sense of community.

is offered 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. daily with a 25 percent
discount off the entire menu. Tuesdays have a Baja
theme with an awesome selection of Latin foods. Wine
Wednesdays give 50 percent off any glass or bottle
of wine or Champagne. They will also host a Saint
Braised Short Ribs
Patrick’s Day celebration on Wednesday, March 17.
To check out a preview of a Sonji Kimmons, do a
search on YouTube; she plays on Thursday nights
from 6:00-9:00 p.m., followed by karaoke with
Carolyn Sweets. I am so glad we were there on the
night that she performed and plan on returning
and hanging out in the bar. Ron Snyder performs
Fridays 5:30-8:30 p.m. followed by Troy Tanner until
11:00 p.m. “The legendary rock goddess,” Cynthia
Manley graces everyone with her presence the first
Saturday of each month. Rudy De La Mor takes the
stage on Saturdays from 7:00 -10:00 p.m. They have
DJ Freakuency spinning on Saturday afternoons
from 1:00 -4:00 p.m. with some kind of music every
night of the week until closing.
