Infrarail preview
A real railway setting
When it was first introduced at the last Infrarail show, the on-track display of
equipment in the exhibition hall proved to be a great success with both
visitors and the companies taking advantage of it. Unsurprisingly, display
space for 2010 sold out quickly.
There will be two 15-metres track panels this year, positioned side-by-side on
the main exhibition floor, to give visitors the chance to see on-track plant in its
natural environment. Universal Railway Equipment Ltd has kindly agreed to
supply and install the track, the Lydney-based company happy to support the
rail industry’s main show of the year.
Participants this year include R Bance, BCM GRC, Colmar UK, Semmco and
Vortok International who will all be presenting their latest innovations in a
fitting setting. The on-track display is open to all show visitors, with exhibitor
personnel available to discuss the products being shown.
On the fast-track
Leading flooring manufacturer Flowcrete is launching Flowfast Rapid
Transit at Infrarail - its innovative new range specifically developed to
transform railway environments. The system uses the latest in flooring
technology to meet the unique needs of the railway industry.
Flowfast Rapid Transit is a seamless acrylic resin system which includes
the quartz finish Flowfast Rapid Transit SR, the granite-based Flowfast
Rapid Transit SRQ and the flexible floor tiles, Flowfast Rapid Transit Tactiles.
