Growing Local Businesses
Whatever the fi nancial climate, people still tend to buy from
people they know, like and trust. That’s why some local
business owners have set up the Waterside Network Group.
Now a number of local small business owners meet regularly
for breakfast, to share ideas and help each other to generate
more business and to become better known in the wider
community.
The Group is growing rapidly, and already creating
opportunities for members to attract more business.
Members so far represent some amazingly diverse industries
from building to energy saving, from travel to care for the
elderly, from photography to graphic design, illustration and
display. Some members offer support services for other
businesses, including bookkeeping, IT support, promotion
and copywriting. There’s a local butcher, a window cleaning
specialist, an animal therapist, suppliers of handcrafted
wedding jewellery and members representing various trades.
Owners of small businesses in the Waterside area who’d
like to grow their business may fi nd out more by contacting
