Dead Sea

Keeping the body fit and beautiful is all part
of our modern lifestyle. In the big cities, spas
and body centers seem to be popping up
everywhere. And these days it’s not only women
but also men who are enjoying the treatments.
E
ven though you can do body treatments and spa
therapies at home, it’s always nice to go to a center
to get that professional touch. At home you are
limited to simple treatments, but at a clinic or spa you
are really pampered with the latest techniques and natural
concoctions.
For comfort and safety reasons, many spas and clinics
offer natural spices, herbs and also mud treatments. The
ingredients are usually combined to make up a full body
treatment package, starting with aromatherapy, facial,
scrubbing (luluran) and a body wrap, then finishing off
with bathing in a pool covered with aromatic flowers and
leaves.
One treatment that quite special is mud bathing. Part of
body scrubbing, this mud is sourced from the Dead Sea
and is believed to be a very effective way to start on a
body slimming program.
